About the ministry

Bible Doctrine Ministry

Established in 2009, Bible Doctrine Ministries is a non-denominational grace ministry composed of Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ and is open to any serious student interested in learning the categorical Bible Doctrines of Christianity – “the mind of Christ” [1 Cor. 2:5-6].  Bible classes are taught by Dr. Jeffrey F. Addicott, Lieutenant Colonel (US Army, Ret.), Professor of Law, BA, JD, LLM(2), SJD.  Apart from his own studying and teaching, Addicott has over 30 years of academic doctrinal training under the ministry of Pastor/Teacher, R. Doctrinal Statement

 

These doctrinal statements and categories identified by “@@@” are taken from the book entitled Categorical Bible Doctrines (forthcoming, 2017).  The Bible Doctrines were compiled in great part from the 50+ year collection of lectures and writings of Pastor/Teacher R.B. Thieme, Jr. (1918-2009) by his mathetes – Dr. Jeffrey F. Addicott.

  • We believe in the absolute verbal and plenary inspiration of the @@@ BIBLE, the mind of Christ and word of God, by God the @@@ HOLY SPIRIT – Heb. 4:12; 2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:20-21; Jn. 6:63.
  • We believe in God’s absolute Perfect character of Holiness consisting of His Righteousness [+R] and Justice and in the co-equality of the three members of the God-head: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit as set out in the @@@ TRINITY – Rev. 1:4-6; 2 Cor. 13:14; Matt. 28:19.
  • We believe in the @@@ OLD SIN NATURE which resides in all humans and the total depravity of man who is born into the status of spiritual @@@ DEATH, an enemy of God and under His wrath – Rom. 5:12.
  • We believe in the primacy of human free will, but that the Directive Will of God in the @@@ PLAN OF GOD is for all humans to receive @@@ SALVATION and spend eternity with Him in @@@ HEAVEN – 2 Pet. 3:9.
  • We believe in @@@ SALVATION by @@@ GRACE and that no human can gain or achieve relationship with Perfect God by means of any system of @@@ RELIGION, merit, morality, ritual, deed, or works of human @@@ GOOD – Eph. 2:8-9; Rom. 11:6.
  • We believe in the efficacious work of the Lord Jesus Christ, the God/man in @@@ HYPOSTATIC UNION, who suffered the unique substitutionary spiritual @@@ DEATH on the @@@ CROSS for the @@@ SIN of all mankind – past, present, and future – thereby satisfying the Perfect Righteousness and Justice of God under @@@ SOTERIOLOGY and providing @@@ SALVATION to all those humans on positive [+P] volition who believe in Him by means of a single non-meritorious act of @@@ FAITH alone in Christ alone, such exhale of faith made efficacious for salvation solely by the work of the @@@ HOLY SPIRIT – Jn. 3:16, 18; 36; Acts 4:12; Eph. 2:8-9; 1 Tim. 4:10.
  • We believe in the bodily @@@ RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ from the grave, His accession and @@@ FOOTSTOOL session at the right hand of God the Father, His future @@@ RAPTURE of the Church, His 2nd Advent to the earth, and His Millennium reign – 1 Cor. 15:20; Lk. 20:42-43; Acts 1:11.
  • We believe in the @@@ ETERNAL SECURITY of the Believer now and in eternity, and the certainty of the Great White Throne @@@ JUDGMENT for the unBeliever who rejects Jesus Christ as his Savior – Rev. 20:11-15; Ps. 1:5.
  • We believe in the @@@ REBOUND technique as the @@@ GRACE means for the Believer to gain Fellowship, Filling and temporal spirituality with God the @@@ HOLY SPIRIT – 1 Jn. 1:9; 1 Cor. 11:30-31; Ps. 32:5.
  • We believe in @@@ DISPENSATIONS as established by God and in the @@@ MYSTERY doctrines of the Church Age where all Believers are Royal Ambassadors to the @@@ WORLD in @@@ WITNESSING, who respect the @@@ PRIVACY and @@@ FREEDOM of all fellow humans, and Royal Priests who represent themselves before God – 1 Pet. 2:9; 2 Cor. 5:20.
  • We believe in the ongoing @@@ ANGELIC CONFLICT and Satan’s rulership of the @@@ WORLD, all under the fact that God controls @@@ HISTORY but allows human volition to operate and @@@ SUFFERING to occur in the context of the @@@ PLAN OF GOD – Eph. 6:12; 1 Cor. 10:13.
  • We believe that the @@@ CHRISTIAN WAY OF LIFE requires the Church Age Believer to glorify God in the @@@ ANGELIC CONVLICT by advancing to spiritual @@@ MATURITY and receiving @@@ REWARDS at the Judgment Seat of Christ by means of learning and applying @@@ BIBLE DOCTRINE, the mind of Jesus Christ, through the teaching of a prepared @@@ PASTOR/TEACHER – 2 Pet. 3:18; 1 Cor. 2:16; 3:10-15; 5:12; 1 Tim. 4:16.
